flee from adultery

matthew chpt 5
jesus talks about love for enenmies etc. the principle that i get is god's standard is very high and we cannot reach it. it is by god's grace that we can enter the kingdom of god.

thank you god for your grace.

proverbs 5 talks so much about adultery too. so does matthew chpt 5. i think this is one area we must lift up in prayer to prevent satan from attacking our family in this area, yes even josef and deborah.

lord jesus i pray for myself, ernest jo and deborah that you will protect us from the snares of adultery. keep us pure and holy in your eyes and prevent us from commiting adultery.

i pray especailly for ernest and josef that they will not lust with their eyes, but they will be filled with self control and look at only what pleases god. let ernest be satisfies with his own cistern of water and let him not commit adultery in his heart. let him be holy before you.

as josef is growing up, i pray that you fill this young man with your righteousness. let him to be like joseph who runs away from temptation though it may bring him some trouble. let him pursue righteousness first above all things.

prayer for ernest and me (affection)

jesus i pray for us that we will openly show our affection with one another. let us not be constrained by asian reservation or shyness but teach us to be open to show love to one another, that the children and outsiders may see the love you have poured in our marriage and all glory goes to you.

teach us jesus to greet each other with a holy kiss and a hug, to kiss each other when we go to work etc.

teach us not to take each other for granted but to treasure the time you have given us.

thank you lord.

prayer for children ( obedience to parents and god)

dear jesus, i pray for josef and deborah that they will have a heart and spirit of obedience towards their parents. let them be enveloped in our love for them so that they willingly obey us. they understand that obeying parents who love them will bring only blessings.

i ask too lord that they will honour their parents and as they do so, you will pour blessings into their lives.

thank you that josef and debbie have been very thoughtful and lovely children. josef rubbed my forehead with ointment last night when debbie hit it.

debbie prepared my slippers for me when we were going out.

they are such lovely children adn i thank you that you have blessed them so much.

most of all, i ask taht you teach them to obey you their god and lord. teach them that obedience to god only leads to blessings. teach them dear lord, to obey you out of lvoe for you.

prayer for baby matthias
i pray for the healthy formation of his lungs, airways and heart. let there be no deformities in them but let there be perfection in the creation.

i pray too for the spirit of joy and peace adn wisdom to be upon this baby. let this boy be a man of god.
