let me do a brief character study on rahab and ruth. what did they do and what are they like?

i read the above website and it says that the primary characteristic that marks ruth's life is her faith in and obedience to god. she chose to follow god.

she headed to bethlehem where she found unfamiliar and she was a gentile living among the jews. she was also unsure how to find a means of livelihood for herself and her mother in law. but she still went and experienced for herself how god provided for her.

she worked hard among the people and had high moral standards. thus she has a good reputation. she also chose to believe in god's providence.

her faith in god and moral and diligent character thus helped her to triumph in adversity.

prayer for adults ( our relationships)

lord jesus, i pray for eneset stef and myself that you will bless us with same gender friends who can be an encouragement and motivation to us in our walk for you and in our lives.

bring those people whose heartbeat is for you, who love to provide for the family and who can share our joys and sorrows.

bring these people into our lives so that they can be in the inner circle of our lives, celebrating life together and supporting each other in times of crisis.

i pray for healing of relationship with ernest dad. not that they have any enimity but open up their communication lines so that they can understand each other better.

lord i pray for a reconciliation with my brother too. i ask that you use the situation he is going thru now to mend the relationship between us.

i pray that we will always honour our father and mother and we will be blessed cos of that.

if there is any unforgiveness in our hearts, let us know so that we may release it to you and let the devil not have a foothold in our lives.

i pray that ernest and i will always be the best of friends. amen.

Instilling a desire to learn

i pray for deborah josef and baby that they will have a love for learning. instill in them a curiosity for things and matters around them. motivate them to learn and enjoy the process.

bless them with a good mind, a teachable spirit and the ability to learn.

i pray that they will always be willing to learn from you and be taught by your word. give them a humble spirit that they may always learn from the people you bring into their lives.

i pray for josef that he may find favour with his chinese teacher. it seems that now he finds her lessons boring and she is upset with him that he is not concentrating during her lesson.

i pray that you will give the chinese teacher sensitivity to the students' interests and make the lessons interesting for them.

i pray that josef will be able to participate more actively during the chinese lesson so that he will find some meaning in the lessons.

if possible, bring teachers who are full of passion and creativity into his life - that they may inspire him to love the subjects they are teaching.

i pray for the children that you will help connect everything in their brains theway it is supposed to be so that they have clarity of thought, organisation good memory and strong learning ability.

i say to them according to your word ' apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge' and may the lord give them understanding in all things. amen

lord i need help in my lecture planning. help me to make my lectures both challenging and engaging. inspiring and interesting.

bless me with your wisdom cos it is with you that i walk this unfamiliar path. hold my hold and bless the work of my hands so that i many bring many more to know you too.
