what is the result of the evil that he did? his reign was only for two years.

contrast with josiah

Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty-one years in Jerusalem. His mother's name was Jedidah the daughter of Adaiah of Bozkath. 2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in all the way of David his father, and he did not turn aside to the right or to the left.

he did what was right in the eyes of the lord and walked in god's way. he did not swerve to the right or left but walk in god's path.

what is the consequence? he reigned for 31 years.

interestingly, his mother was mentioned and not his father. he reigned when he wa eight. i assume that his mother did a good job guiding him to be a wise king.

let us work hard.
