can ernest please explain what is happening in the old testament?

i read but do not understand the context.

i only learnt that god is faithful to his word and he will not destroy simply cos he wanted to keep his promise to god true.

dear god how faithful you are.

dear god is the helper suitable for our family? if she is not, please thwart the whole process and prevent her from coming. if she is, please bring her safely to our home and help us get along as one unit.

help me to see the present helper with your eyes. i am so turned off by her endless and numerous lies. help me to love the sinner but hate the sin. teach me dear lord for i am incapable of doing it myself. thanks.

hmm.... passion for god. direction in work

i pray for ernest stef adn myself that we will be passionate about god and his kingdom. teach us dear lord to put you first in all things. to pursue you with all that we are.

pull out all idols in our hearts and lives so that only jesus will have first place in our lives. may you truly be the lord in our lives.

dear god i thank you for you have blessed us with jobs that match our interests and skill set. lead us in teh way you want us to go. teach us to lean on you every step of the way. allow now the haughty spirit from creeping in. teach us always to be humble before you and give you all thanks and glory.

use us in teh workplace to bring many to you. let our lives be a testimony of who you are.

empower us with the ability and knowledege to excel in our work so that people may be wowed by the quality of it.

thank you dear lord.

prayer for chidren: friends

dear lord my children need friends whom they can interact with. can you bless us with peers whom we can play together in the evening or even study together in the afternoon? this is for josef. please bring friends whom he can interact with and motivate to learn and to know god in his life.

we also need friends in church. we need to be more connected to the body. lead us to people whom we can get along with and help us to find support there.

even as we go to woodlands church, help us to settle down there by finding a group of believers whom we can support each other.

testimony / thanks giving / supplication

dear god thank you for the short drive with jo to school. he shares things which he does not when at home. i do not know but it happens. dear god i pray that you will continue to keep this communication line open and let mother and son continue to be open about our thughts and feeligns.

thank you god for the completion of the hdb flat. thank you for your blessings and guidance. i pray that we will be a blessing to others even as you bless us abundantly. give us wisdoma and discretion who and how to bless.

thank you jesus for a supportive family who loves us and who helps out with the chidlren. thank you lord and bless them with good health and joy.

dear god i need your help to aply fungal cream and give life pac to ernest. he always forgets and so do i. having more time now, i would like to help him in these areas. please help me. thank you.

dear god i need wisdom too on how to teach josef in the afternoon, help me to plan a timetable for him that he can follow. help me to make lessons interesting.

i need you even more now that i have quit my job and spend time with the family and planning my lectures. be with me every step of the way and bless me with sucess dear lord.

i pray for erneest that he will sleep well at ngiht. for deborah too that she will sleep well at night and not be frightened by nightmares.

i thnk you that josef and i sleep like a log and we really enjoyu our sleep.
