banish the unrepentant

reading god's word

i was asking god what should my reaction towards a person who is unrepentant.

i read the following verse:

22 The people of Israel walked in all the sins that Jeroboam did. They did not depart from them, 23 until the Lord removed Israel out of his sight, as he had spoken by all his servants the prophets. So Israel was exiled from their own land to Assyria until this day.

to someone who is unrepentant, god removed the person from his sight.

where is the grace of god? well the bible says, should sin increase so that grace increases? no!

well i am very upset that the person does not repent and continue to take my things without permission. it seems that she is to be banished from our sight.

jesus, your eyes is on the situation. i ask that you will bless my family with one who does not lie, can carry out the tasks well and can be integrated into the family. if thida is not the one, please thwart the plane processing. if she is the one, bless her coming and bring her safely here. amen.

today's word talk about the healing and resurrection miracle that the disciples did.

many turned to the lord cos of it.

i pray that god will use me to do miracles so that many may turn to him.

prayer on friday

for adutls: self image

dear lord jesus i pray for the self image of ernest. i pray that he will learn to see who he is thru your eyes alone.

let not his self image be based on material and external secular achievements. allow him to use his talents for the service and extension of your kingdon but never let him take glory for all the secular acheivements.

let the fruit of the spirit bear abundantly in his life. that love joy peace gentleness self control may be evident to all around him.

i pray specially that he will have a heart of humility and brokeness before you, that he may know that he is nothing in the presence of God Almighty.

i pray for myself and stef too that our self image may be rooted in christ. let us be women who are deeply rooted in who you are. the plans you have for us, let them be fulfilled in our lives that we may be women of god.

let us have a gentle spirit but so strong in the lord that we can go thru all trials and tribulations cos god is with us.

we are the branches you are the vine. in you we are strong.

for the children: walking in repentance

lord jesus i pray for josef and deborah that they will walk in repentance before you.

reveal to ernest and me, any hidden sin that the children need to confess before you. let ernest and i be sensitive to the holy spirit that we may teach and lead them to confess sins before you.

for jsoef, i pray that you will deliver him any spirit of lying. teach him to see that lying is taking part with satan and it puts a wall between god and him. teach him to walk in the spirit of truth.

dear god, i have to start with myself. i confess that i have been unholy with my words. i have said shit and bloody shit when drivers cut into my lane or are too slow. such words do not glorify your name. please forgvie me or teach me to turn away from them.

i want to speak words of grace and salt, that i may be a light to the world.

i pray that you will teach me how to teach josef so that he will enjoy learning and he will be self motivated to learn in future. give me wisdom from above dear god.

i pray for your blessings to be upon ernest and my work that we will be at the top of the ladder and not the bottom. i pray for favour with students and colleagues and frineds.

god hears my cry and saves me

The Lord is faithful in all his wordsand kind in all his works.] [11]

The Lord is near to all who call on him,to all who call on him in truth.19 He fulfills the desire of those who fear him;he also hears their cry and saves them. psalm 145

i was reading thru yesterday's blog to see what i was calling out to god about. when i read the verse in ps 145, i knew that god is telling me that he hears my cry.

well i read thru and realise that i was crying out to god about the domestic helper. i want someone who is a good task master, has good character and can integrate into the family. i was crying to god that if thida is not the one, thward all processes.

hmm.. i am surpised that the application for thida was submited on my b day. is this symbolic of a b day present?

i only pray that if she is not the one, she will not come. i will rather continue with the present one than to change again.

bt god is telling me that he hears my cry and saves me. and he is faithful to his word and he is kind to me.

in this word i put my trust and i believe that he will bring it to pass.

can i ask for.... a helper who is good at her tasks and reliable / trustworthy and can integrate into my family?

it has been two long years interacting with sub standard helpers and i really hope this will come to an end.

god thwart all processing if she is not the one for my family. bring her to my family.

sigh. it has been tough.

lord help me to love the sinner but hate the sin.

how interesting that when i read the bible this verse appears to me:

Rescue me and deliver mefrom the hand of foreigners,whose mouths speak liesand whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. ps 114

my helpers have been non believers and for current one, the latter part of the verse describes her very well: whose mouths speak lies and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

this is my plea to god, that you will deliver me from such helpers.

i have chosen thida based on the fact that her bio data dropped into my hands ( literally!), she is 30, a believer, a myanmese, has 3 years experience in sinapore with 1 employer ( to be further confirmed), can speak english and so far, she has been able to follow instructions over the phone. also she was a mid wife in myanmar and i hope she likes babies and can take care of my new born when god blesses us with one.

god you see all hearts of men. i have not even seen this lady before. please let your perfect will be done. i am so tired of having to live with someone who is just so..... sigh ... either a lousy worker or one with no integrity.

god have i learnt to endure? i f i have, please reward me for my growth.

josef is going to be like a full grown plant, strong and giving shade to others and deeply rooted in christ.

debroah is going to be like the corner pillar for the palace. she is going to be strong and she is going to be a leader in a high place of authority.

ernest and i are going to be blessed in our family storehouse - financially, spiritually, physically, emotionally etc.

our work will be blesse ( sheep produce thousands of sheeps).

our home will have no distress but full of joy.

questions about old testament

can ernest please explain what is happening in the old testament?

i read but do not understand the context.

i only learnt that god is faithful to his word and he will not destroy simply cos he wanted to keep his promise to god true.

dear god how faithful you are.

dear god is the helper suitable for our family? if she is not, please thwart the whole process and prevent her from coming. if she is, please bring her safely to our home and help us get along as one unit.

help me to see the present helper with your eyes. i am so turned off by her endless and numerous lies. help me to love the sinner but hate the sin. teach me dear lord for i am incapable of doing it myself. thanks.

hmm.... passion for god. direction in work

i pray for ernest stef adn myself that we will be passionate about god and his kingdom. teach us dear lord to put you first in all things. to pursue you with all that we are.

pull out all idols in our hearts and lives so that only jesus will have first place in our lives. may you truly be the lord in our lives.

dear god i thank you for you have blessed us with jobs that match our interests and skill set. lead us in teh way you want us to go. teach us to lean on you every step of the way. allow now the haughty spirit from creeping in. teach us always to be humble before you and give you all thanks and glory.

use us in teh workplace to bring many to you. let our lives be a testimony of who you are.

empower us with the ability and knowledege to excel in our work so that people may be wowed by the quality of it.

prayer for chidren: friends

dear lord my children need friends whom they can interact with. can you bless us with peers whom we can play together in the evening or even study together in the afternoon? this is for josef. please bring friends whom he can interact with and motivate to learn and to know god in his life.

we also need friends in church. we need to be more connected to the body. lead us to people whom we can get along with and help us to find support there.

even as we go to woodlands church, help us to settle down there by finding a group of believers whom we can support each other.

dear god thank you for the short drive with jo to school. he shares things which he does not when at home. i do not know but it happens. dear god i pray that you will continue to keep this communication line open and let mother and son continue to be open about our thughts and feeligns.

thank you god for the completion of the hdb flat. thank you for your blessings and guidance. i pray that we will be a blessing to others even as you bless us abundantly. give us wisdoma and discretion who and how to bless.

thank you jesus for a supportive family who loves us and who helps out with the chidlren. thank you lord and bless them with good health and joy.

dear god i need your help to aply fungal cream and give life pac to ernest. he always forgets and so do i. having more time now, i would like to help him in these areas. please help me. thank you.

open your eyes and see the lord.

open my spiritual eyes that i may see you and your power dear lord.

wow the power of god that is beyond our comprehension. and is available to us if we would only OPEN our EYES!

As soon as they entered Samaria, Elisha said, “O Lord, open the eyes of these men, that they may see.” So the Lord opened their eyes and they saw, and behold, they were in the midst of Samaria. 21 As soon as the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, “My father, shall I strike them down? Shall I strike them down?” 22 He answered, “You shall not strike them down. Would you strike down those whom you have taken captive with your sword and with your bow? the people need a christian to pray for them. elisha prayed that god open the eyes of the men and god heed their prayer.

elisha also displayed kindness and fairness when he treated the prisoners to a great feast.

dear lord give me a big heart so that i may reflect your character too.

to god be all glory

Then he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and he came and stood before him. god speaks to me about all glory going to him and all credit to him too. elisha refused to accept the present from the man and this is symbolic of him refusing to receive any credit for what has happened.

our attitude should be the same. when god blesses us with success, our hearts should always be humble before god and give all glory and thanks to god. we should always acknowledge to god that he alone is the source of the successes and blessings.

give us a heart of humility o lord, that all glory goes to your name.

25 He went in and stood before his master, and Elisha said to him, “Where have you been, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant went nowhere.” 26 But he said to him, “Did not my heart go when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Was it a time to accept money and garments, olive orchards and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male servants and female servants? 27 Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence a leper, like snow.

gehazi was greedy for material things and he coverted and lied to get what he wanted. he might think that no one sees but god's eyes is everywhere. god saw it and punished him with leprosy.

we should guard our hearts from greed. let us be satisfied with god and him alone, believing that he alone is our jehovah jireh who provides for all our needs.

let us not covert but pursue god and his righteousness and kingdom.

prayer for adults: our walk with god

dear lord
your word says that the way of man is not in himself. it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.

therefore lord i pray you will direct our steps. lead us in your light, teach us your way so we will wlak in your truth. i pray we will have a deeper wlak with you and an ever prefresing hunger for your word. may your presence be like a delicacy we never cease to crave.

leade us on your path and mke us quick to confess when we stray from it.

reveal to us any hidden sin that would hinder us from walkig rightly before you.

may we experiece deep repentance whe we do not live in obedience to your laws.

create in us a clean heart and renew a steadfast spirit in us.

do not cast us away from your presnece adn do not take your holy spirit from us.

your word says that those who are in the flesh cannot please you so i pray that you will enable ernest stef mum dad and i to walk in teh spirit and not in the flesh and keep ourselces from the paths of the destroyer.

as we walk in the spirit may we bear the fruit of the spirit which is love joy peace pateience kindess goodness faithfulness gentleness and self control.

keep us on the highway of holiness so that the way we walk will be intergrated into every part of our lives.

enable us to wlak worthy of the calling with which we were called with all lowliness and gentleness with long suffereing bearing with one another in love. eph 4:1

i pray that you will keep josef deborah and dora free from any addiction esp to alcohol or durgs. make them strong in you draw them clse and enable them to put you in control of their lives.

speak to their hearts show them the path they should walk and help them see that protecting their body from things that destroy is a part of their service to you.

i pray that you will thwart any plan satan has to destroy their lives thru alcohol and drugs and take away anthing in their perosnality that will be drawn to thse substances. your word says there is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death.

give them discernment and stregth to be able to say no to things that bring death and yes to the things of god that bring life. may they clearly see the truth whenever tempted and be delivered from teh evila one when trapped.

enable them to choose life in whtever they do and my their only addiction be to the things of god.

i pray that all things they do with their body be done to your glory.

therefore if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. john 8:36.

testimony

i have been praying for deborah that god will take away any unhealthy fear in her towards dogs.

yesterday when we walked pass a big dog, debbie said ' this dog not bite mei mei". i was pleasantly surprised. praise god.

praise god too that deborah has received christ into her heart last week.

she prayed to god by herself and i was surprsied to hear her singing

jesus help me this i know
for the bible tells me so.

she prayed to god to help her about her fears of dogs and in her song she sings about it, replacing the word love with help.

praise god for this little sis in christ.

a man of his word

josef has an encounter with evil spirits last night.

in the car, he suddenly was engulfed by fear. fear filled his innocent eyes and he grabbed my hand tightly.

in the lift to, he was hugging me tightly.

i knew it was the evil spirits because nothing else could have struck fear in josef when eveything seemingly seems tranquil in the environment.

i was just calling out jesus name in the lift when he hugged me. i just said 'jesus jesus jesus', believing in the power and authority of jesus name.

when josef stepped into our house, he told me that he felt peace and there is no more fear in him. i told him that god's presence is in our house, and i shared with him that i already knew it was the evil spirits.

he was happy that i believed in him and the little boy was happy once more.

i pray that this encounter would let him know that the spiritual world is real but god is the greatest spirit of all.

Of this man's offspring God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, as he promised.

david found favour with god cos he is after god's heart and he will do his will, not because he is righteous or faithful.

god i pray for ern josef deborah stef and me that we will be after your heart and will want to do your will.

i learnt from the verse above that what god promised, he will deliver, thus we must learn from god to be a person of our words. say what we will do , and do what we have said.

avoid being a man of many words who does not deliver.

from david's offspring comes jesus. david could not have seen this when he was alive.

what is the work that god is doing in my life and my family's? god is at work but are we engaging ourselves with him, abiding in him , so that we may bear much fruit in him?

lord, teach us to abide in you so that we may allow you to work in and through us. use us in our schools and work place.

Lord fill ernest stef and me with your love and peace today. ma there be a calmness and sense of well being established in us cos our lives are god controlled rather than flesh contorlled. enable us to walk in our hosue with a clean and perfect heart before you. sine the light of ou sprit upon us an dfill us with your love

i pray taht we will be kind and patient, not selfish or easily provoked. enable us to bear all things believe all things hope all things and endure all things. release us from anger unrest an dpressure. may we not be broken in spirit cos of sorrow but enjoy the continual feast of a merr heart. give us a spirit of joy and keep us esp my dad from growing into a grumpy old man. help us to be anxious for nothing, but give thanks in all things so he can know the peace that passes all understanding.

for myself lord, thank you for helping me plan the first two lectures. please continue to guide me as i continue with the planning from monday onwards. teach me to use the mornings wisely to plan lectures, to pray and read your word, to intercede and to worship.

let me be so cuaght up with you dear lord that You alone supercede everything else.

this is my last day at QTSS and MOE. it is with some nostalgia that i type this. it has been a good decade and god has blessed me to move on to other educational institutions.

i am thankful to MOE for all that it has done. i pray that god will continue to mould me to be an effective teacher both at the tertiary level and at home.

teach me to role model the passion of learning and love for the subject.

let me teach as jesus would teach. fill me up with passion for learning and love for teaching.

dear lord, bless the work of my hands as i move out.

i thank you that you have brought to pass your word that you will honour me cos i love you. i am amazed at how you have honoured me at my work.

people in the workplace expressed that it is a waste that i am resigning. my bosses tried to retain me and my immediate boss invited me to return anytime i wanted to.

thank you god for pouring such favour into my life. may such favour be also found in my new workplaces. more challenges lie ahead and i ask for your presence to be with me.

what is your will for my position there? let me know and use me too.

extend my tent so that your work and blessings can be extended as well.

Prayer for the children: receiving a sound mind


lord jesus
thank you for promising us a sound mind. i lay claim to that promise for josef and deborah and dora / dora(male version). i pray that their mind be clear alert bright intelligent stable peaceful and uncluttered. i pray that there will be no confusion dullness and unbalanced scattered unorganised or negative thinking.

give them clarity of mind so that they will be able to think straight al all times. give them the ability to make clear decisions to understand all theyneed to know and to be able to focus on twhat they need to do.

where there is now any mental instablity impairment or dysfunction, i speak healing in jesus name. may they be renewd in teh spirit of their mind and have the mind of christ.

i pray that they will so love the lord with all their heart sould and mind that there will be no room in them for the lifres of the enenmy or the clamouring of the world. may the word of god take root in their hearts and fill their minds with things that ar true noble just pure lovely of good report and praiseworthy.

give them understadin that what goes into their inds becomes part of them so that thye will weight carefully what they se and heart

you have said you will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you cos he trusts in you.

i pray for my chidlren that their faith in you and your word will grow daily so that they will live forever in peace and soundness of mind.

i pray for josef deborah and dora/ dora(male version name) that they will not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of their inds that they may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of god.

obedience to god

Obedience to god.

Thus says the Lord, ‘Because you have disobeyed the word of the Lord and have not kept the command that the Lord your God commanded you, 22 but have come back and have eaten bread and drunk water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread and drink no water,” your body shall not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”
1 Kings 12

god expects obedience from us. while he loves deeply and unconditionally, a life of obedience to him pleases him much.

it is so important to obey god if you desire god's favour and pleasure.

o lord, let my family of christians, ern, josef and deborah give priority in obeying you.

god what do you do when someone is unrepentant? you may have forgiven but the person is unrepentant and does the sin again?

you talk about forgiving seven times seventy times, but you also talk about stiff neckness. so what is the balance to attain?

please give me wisdom on how to behave because my maid is unrepentant. she lies repeatedly and i see no change in her.

yes god now you speak to me.

you say let no bitterness take root in my heart. forgive as the heavenly father has forgiven me. but as all things have consequences, go ahead and dish out the consequences which is of course ....

god bless me with someone whom i can trust. bring the person into my life dear lord, like the way you brought jobs into my life.

i need someone who can carry out her job well too, to be able to do housework and cook and look after the baby.

god, i prefer a christian who genuinely loves you.

help me dear lord. i have been through a long process of changing maids and sigh, it has been a difficult two years.

help me lord.

i cry out to the lord and he answered me in my distress.
i lift up my eyes to the hill. where does my help come from? my help come from the lord - the maker of the heaven and the earth.

prayer for children: instilling the desire to learn

dear god i pray for josef and deborah that they will have a passion for learning which will take root in their minds and hearts. i pray that they will find learning a joy. give them a healthy curiostiy about things and walk them through each stage of learning.

where they are lacking, let you be sufficient.

i pray for josef that you will help him to be more organised in his work. teach him to take pride in what he does. most of all, help him to find joy in learning. let learning not be a chore to him, but a joy. give me wisdom, as his teacher, to make lessons come alive for him as well.

thank you god. i need you.

bless both children with a strong learning ability, a strong organisational and analytical mind, a diligent spirit and a persevering attitude as they learn.

i pray for the unborn child in me too. i pray that you will also bless this gift of god with an intelligent mind filled with the wisdom of god, filled with the ability to learn from the people and surrounding around him.

most of all i pray for my three children that they will find joy in learning from you. dear god, let them find joy and passion in pursuing your word and who you are. let them be saturated with the knowledge of god - like the way the earth is filled with the glory of god.

Integrity is what we are when no one is looking.

Enable us powerful holy spirit, to stand for what is right and not waver under pressure from the world. give us a teachable spirit that is willing to listen to the voice of wisdom and grow in your ways.

make us people who live by truth. help us to wlak with your spirit of truth at all times. be with us to bear witness to the truth so that in times of perssure we will act o it with confidence.

do not let us be deceived in any way. do not let us have a lie in any way. Bind mercy and truth around our necks and write them on the tablet of oru hearts so that we will find favor and highesteem in the sight of god and man.

yes i do pray for you in that area of temptation too. will do that more consistently from now on.

indeed the price will be high. well for my kind of personality, once trust is broken, the building back takes decades, if it is possible at all. sometimes i think it is almost impossible.

well you may see me talking to the maid now but my trust in her is still near zero. i cannot trust her to bring the kids downstairs by herself. and i still lock the door when i go out.

so this is me. trust once broken, is almost irrevocable.

and there will go our communication, our closely knitted family. i will not want to do any thing with you any more too. well well. i will not stay in a loveless marriage. the kids can keep in touch with you while i have my freedom to explore other possibilities.

well if the covenant has been breached there is no point to stay on in it. so dat will be The End.

so i will pray more for you and for myself as well - who all man are common to temptations.

actually as a woman i am not so much tempted by other man. i don see what is so attractive about them. well sex? what so pleasuarable when i know that the sin and guilt that will engulf me will be burdensome beyond what i can bear?

just like the show i watch. i don like it cos i think it is perverted and i feel unclean after watching it. i will not be watching such stuff for a long time. i prefer the purity between ern and i, the purity of god in our marriage. the purity of love and sex.

the world is too perverted and i am not interested at all to take part in the perversion. my family is a heaven on earth. god presence love and joy is here and i relish being in the presence of god daily.

tho my house is small , it is full of love and joy. i love god and want to please him in every way.

Kids:enjoying a life of health and healing

dear god i pray for jo and deborah that they will take delight in taking care of their health. bless them too with the wisdom to know what to eat and do so that they will eat only the healthy things.

let them be turn off by the putting junk food into their tummies. teach them to reject bad food , even under peer pressure.

help them to enjoy exercising and stretching their bodies, that they may be trim and fit.

heal any emotional hang ups in them. i pray for josef that he will grow in self acceptance and confidence. he is not confident about his abilities and i pray that he will be healed of this lack of confidence in himself.

i pray for deborah that she will be healed of .... i also dun no what to pray for her. i just wonder why she refused to cooperate with me yesterday to take pictures for her project.

i pray that deborah and josef will be healed of their sensitive airways. in jesus name, heal them.

jesus i pray for ern and i that you will give us wisdom on how to take care of our physical and mental and emotional health.

physically, teach us what to do and eat so that our bodies will benefit from it. even as we take supplements, teach us what to eat that is best for our bodies.

help us with discipline to exercise regularly so that the temple of god may get oxygen flowing thru the body and the heart pumping. discipline us to do muscle toning and flexibility exercises too.

mental health. teach us to continue to learn so that we are always learning something new daily. give us an insatiable desire to read so that our knowledge can be expanded. let us turn on the tv so that we can learn fascinating things from the educational channels.

Following Truth rejecting lies

dear lord jesus, i pray for my children that they will follow truth and reject all the lies that satan throw into their path.

for josef, i pray that the holy spirit will reject the fear of demons and ghosts in him. teach him to rise above his fear and know that you who are in him is greater than he who is in the world. saturate jo with your truth. amen.

i also pray for josef that he will know that he is able in god's might to accomplish many things. in jesus name , enable him to reject the lie that he is no good. plant the truth that in god, he can do more than a conqueror in every sense of the word. amen.

for deborah, i pray that the word of truth will take root and flower in her heart and mind. may your truth open her eyes and mind to you and lead her to salvation once she can utter the sinner's prayer.

at this point of time, i think i should ask her if she wants to receive jesus into her heart. if she wants, i should lead her in the prayer. when she can utter sentences, she can say the prayer with me again.

we never know what happens the next moment, so we should lead her to christ with urgency.

Health

i pray for ern and my health. give us wisdom to take care of our health and this includes our dental health as well. ha ha. i pray this cos my teeth do not seem very healthy.

teach us how to take care how this temple of yours so that disease and weakness do not set in. as our body age, let us increase in health, that people may see us and praise you cos they see the healthy glow in us.

let our faces be alive with energy and joy cos we are healthy. let illness not savage us. in jesus name we pray.

bless us with good health and teach us to be disciplined so that we may spend time to train our bodies up.

teach us to do exercises in toning muscles and flexibility too.

this is god's word today. in all that i do, be slow to anger. in my context today, it is especially so with ern and josef. be patient and slow to anger with them. love them and give thank for who they are. enjoy their presence and celebrate the personalities god has given them.

for the bad habits which they have, teach me to refrain from judgement as i myself have many weaknesses that god sees but still loves and rejoices over me.

my first morning up early

good morning jesus! thank you for helping me wake up early in the morning! I am so happy that this is the first time i am able to do it during the hols.

it is so nice to be talking to you when everyone is asleep. the peace and quietness before the noise creeps in when everyone wakes up and all the tasks pile up.

dear jesus i thank you so much that you have given me the opportunity to work at SIM and UniSim. May your good will be done at these universities as you lead me to meet many people from different countries. let your ministry tent expand in the campuses dear Lord.

i love you jesus. i think you are Great and awesome. dear god, as i ran along the canal last morning, i am awed by the pink papery flowers that you create. it is amazing how all the trees flower at the same time, and when the flowers flit down to the ground, they create a soft carpet of pink on the floor. it is breathtaking. i can almost imagine that i am in japan durng the sakura season.

dear god, thank you for helping me with my lecture planning. i need all your help - like the way you helped me thru marking the TMAs when i had no mentors and was even wondering how much i understood the question myself!

i pray for dad in law that he may be blessed with 5 more years of living. the doc say 1 year but i ask that you multiply it. let him see the 3rd grandchild grow to a toddler at least dear god. but most of all i pray that he may receive you soon.

talking about the 3rd grandchild, i think that god spoke to me that he is going to give the child to me on my 35 birthday and the child's name shall mean "God's gift".

i am not too sure whether that was my imagination or god's word to me so i shall keep mum about it till the word is fulfilled - if i heard correctly.

but i am still excited nevertheless.

dear god i pray that you will bless me with a healthy child whose heart is for god and for his parents. i do not mind whether it is a boy or girl but i pray that she will be one after your heart and ours.

i pray for a child with no defects. let him be healthy from head to toe. thank you that josef and deborah are bright kids. let the child be the brightest of them all. but most importanly, let him be healthy. let him come at a best time dear god.

i am encouraged by ernest's desire to hear from god early in the morning. i pray that god will help me to be disciplined in waking up at 6 am to hear from him too. so far i have been waking up at 6 30 am.

dear god, i pray for my children that they may have a close relationship with god. may they know you personally and not just have a head knowledge of who you are. open their spiritual eyes that they may see you, spritiual mind that they may know you.

let them love you with all their hearts.
