LEssons from daniel

the main lesson i learnt today is about humility. daniel rejected the king's offer of title and jewel.

he carries out his interpretation of the dream well. He does not look out for reward from men.

the lord detests pride in our hearts. this can be seen from the way he dealt with Nebu and his son. He struck them down after they refused to honour god.

how can we honour god? i think in our hearts, we always give thanks to god what all that we have "acheived" and acknowledged that without god , we are nothing.

i think also in all that we do, we do to the best of our ability, believing that our work gives glory to god.
