though i have not blog since 16 nov, i have been talking to god about many things close to my heart. but i must read God's word more to hear him speaking to me from the word of life.

today i read about nebuzhenazar's attitude towards himself and god. nebu's has a self-glorifying attitude and he credits all his achievements to himself. this displeases god a lot and god sent him out of the kingdom and into the wilderness.

it was only after nebu declared god's glory and power that the kingdom was restored to him.

i learnt from this that god loves us to give glory to him. Not that he is a boastful god, but he is a jealous god who wants us to be totally his. When we give him glory, our hearts are his too. i think this is why he wants the heart which glorifies him.

anyway all creation is already shouting his praises and glorifying him, he does not need our "achievements" but he does want our hearts.
