2 tim 2 pray for those in authority

jeremiah 29 11
for i know the plans i have for you declares the lord. plans to prosper you and not to harm you. plans to give you hope and a future.

2 Tim 2
the chapter talks about praying for all men in authority that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives. when i read it it reminds me that my husband has been ordained by god as the man of authority in the family. i am to pray for him as the word commands.
