search me o god and know my heart
test me and know my anxious heart
see if there is any offensive way in me
and lead me in the way everlasting.

i was still before the lord just now and the things which come to my mind was to release forgiveness into the extended family. for the hurts and disappointments, i forgive them ( by act of will)and i cut away all bitter roots in me. i release them in the mighty name of jesus.

Prayer for my husband
i pray for puay hong that he will find his purpose in you. captivate his heart once again that he may live for you. lord, his heart and his mind are not beating as one. they are set on different things. his mind knows what he want to pursue but his heart is looking at another direction.

holy spirit captivate him and let him live out his life, his whole life, unto you.
let him be drawn by the spirit into your presence and open his eyes and heart to see the futility of the world. let his image be built upon the Solid Rock.

lord i pray for this leader of our household that he will be convicted of the purposeful life you have destined for him.

let him not sway to the right or left but let him fix his eyes on the author of his salvation and the keeper of his soul.

money has long been a grip on his family. let money not be god. but let Jesus be the lord of his life.

in the name of jesus, i speak life and purpose into puay hong's life. i pray for the breakthrough and the clarity of purpose that only the Holy GHost can bring.

in the powerful name of jesus, i claim the return of the wondering heart. i pray for a fixation on things and god eternal.

i plead the blood of jesus upon him that he will be cut off from the bondage of pride and money.

cut it in the name of jesus. let him love and serve you wholeheartedly dear lord. stop the wandering in the desert.

prayer for my children
i pray for josef deborah and matthias that their faith in the lord jesus will be so strong that they have a walk with jesus that extends beyond the daddy and mummy.

dear jesus, draw them into your presence daily and fill them with your truth and your joy peace and love. i pray they will be shining for you in their schools and homes.

i pray for the relationship between josef and deborah. i ask for the forgiveness and tenderness of christ to flow into their hearts, esp josef. i ask that you will open his eyes to see the loveliness of his sister. open his heart to recieve the love of his sister. melt his heart to see how much his little sis adores him.

i pray for unity between brother and sister and they will relate with each other the way you have loved them.

in the name of jesus, i command all spirit of discord and disunity and suspicion to flee from the children. i speak healing of hearts and love into their lives.

as i cover my children in the blood of jesus, may they be filled with the fullness of christ and be rooted in the presence of the lord.

i pray for josef that he will enjoy his learninga and see the purpose of working hard as well. may the intrinsic motivaiton arise in him. may he study for the lord as well as for the deisre to enter a good school.

i pray that puay hong and josef will learn what it means to rely on god as they prepare for the exam together. may the strength and wisdom of the lord be upon them.

i thank you for matthias that he has been quite safe these few weeks. i pray that you will continue to keep him in safety.

even as matthy enters the community in january, i pray that you will help him in the transition. i ask that you give him confidence in the teachers and enjoyment of the little friends around him.

let him give him a sense of security in Caterpillar Cove. i pray for the teachers that they will be filled with love and tenderness for the children cos the young ones can sense it.

i pray that matthy will find joy in going to the morning class and let theere not be any trauma in it. i pray that he will enjoy and look forward to going to the school.

i pray for my 3 children that they will be blessed by you dear lord with teachers who love and carea for them, with teachers who are able to exert a godly influence on them. ignite the love of learning in each of them, a love for god in their hearts.

let them be the Daniel in the schools, excelling in all things that they do. let them be the joshus, filled with courage to do the things of god. let them be esther, responding to the call of god upon their lives.

it is my intense desire to see my children grow up in you. keep them in your hands and cause them to grow as the holy spirit desires.

Prayer

disappointment. expectations not met. what do we do?

we surrender to the lord. my mentor hwee fern used to teach me, cry out to the lord and tell him all my needs. rely on the lord and focus my eyes on him.

yes expectations not met but this may not be the fault of the other. it is not for me to judge but it is for me to run to the lord for all that i need.

what do i need?

dear lord, i need a mentor who is able to blaze the way , to show me the ropes of bringing the anointinga and miracles to the market place. bring that mentor into my life lord so that i may learn and be more effective in your kingdom.

one who has learnt applied and can show me the way. lord i pray that you bring the person into my life.

lack of a common goal.

lord i pray that there will be a common goal between hubby and i. we need to have a common purpose and pursue together. speak to us individually lord.

unite us in one spirit and mind and heart.

it is not always about us, but it is about your kingdom goals and advancement of your purposes.

root us deeper into you and take us out of our own world. help us to live with eyes on eternity.

i pray for B that he may find his purpose in you. as he searches, may his search lead to you, the creator of all things.

use my life to show to my children and husband of meditating on your word and keeping it in our hearts and minds. i am weak but you are strong.

when jesus saw the lame man there, he did not ask 'do you want to believe in christ?" instead he asked "do you want to get well?'

i learn from this.when we reach out to the lost, we must meet their needs. we should approach them and meet their needs.

pray for discernment to help them.

it is interesting that jesus did not even stop to tell him about god after the healing. the man did not even know who healed him.

but in a different place, jesus spoke to him about sin and god. we must consider the place and timing.

lord give me wisdom to meet the needs of the people you have brought in to my life. flow through me that you may meet their deepest needs through me.

lord open up doors to the work places that you want to be at - to minister and to shine for you.

dear lord i pray for puay hong that he will root himself in you. let him cling on to you and nothing else. let him establish his eternal future in you. let us live with the consciousness that life on this earth is just fleeting. not us live not for earthly glories, but for eternal ones.

i konw what is is to be in need and i konw what is is to have plenty. i have learned the secret of being ocntent in any and every situation whether well fed or hungry. whether living in plenty or in want. i can do everything through him who gives me strength.

it is amzing. i was expecting god to speak to me that he will provide for my needs, do not worry etc.

however he spoke to me from another perspective. the lord says to me to give thanks for what i have.

and also the secret of contentment is to enjoy the lord of eternity in my heart.

circumstances can change but what does not is the presence of god in our lives.

enjoying the presence of god in our lives is the secret to contentment in all circumstances.

dear lord thank you for speaking to me.

i thank you for my family my jobs and health... and the favour you have poured into my life.

thank you for all the blessings.

thank you too that you are a faithful jehovah jireh who provides for all my needs.

this is a fact which does not change. and it is in this i take joy and contentment.

i am utterly amazed at how the lord speaks to me in all situations.
