when jesus saw the lame man there, he did not ask 'do you want to believe in christ?" instead he asked "do you want to get well?'
i learn from this.when we reach out to the lost, we must meet their needs. we should approach them and meet their needs.
pray for discernment to help them.
it is interesting that jesus did not even stop to tell him about god after the healing. the man did not even know who healed him.
but in a different place, jesus spoke to him about sin and god. we must consider the place and timing.
lord give me wisdom to meet the needs of the people you have brought in to my life. flow through me that you may meet their deepest needs through me.
amen.
lord i pray that you will bless me with wisdom and discernment, most of all, as you use me to reach out to the community.
lord open up doors to the work places that you want to be at - to minister and to shine for you.
lord flow through me cos it nothing about me, it is all about you. let your presence fill my life and your fragrance fill my soul.
let my life on earth count for you. not for me but for you dear lord cos you have given all to me.
in the same way, let me give my all to you.
father i pray for josef that he will hear from and experience you in a very real way during this camp.
speak to him about his destiny in you.
dear lord i pray for deborah that she will be humble before you. let there be a spiritual interest in the things of god. recently she has been slightly bored when reading bible stoires. i pray that the holy spirit will restore her unto you.
i pray for matthias that he will be touched by the love of god. even at a young age he will experience god though he may nont understand it.
dear lord i pray for puay hong that he will root himself in you. let him cling on to you and nothing else. let him establish his eternal future in you. let us live with the consciousness that life on this earth is just fleeting. not us live not for earthly glories, but for eternal ones.
i pray for II, dear lord this is your baby and we need people to be in a group. bring the ppl lord. sensitive ph to your leading and your voice.
we need ppl and we pray you bring them in. amen.
