what is the significance hwen king hez took the gold from god's temple and gave it to his conqueror?

i was just struck by how important obedience to god is. king h was obedient to god, god was with him and he prospered in whatever he did.

god i pray for ernest jo deb mat and myself that we will always be obedient to you. with all that we are and every moment of our lives. let our actions words and thoughts be right in your eyes.
