the above is from ps 44. it talk about doing things through god's aname. we should not trust in our strength but in the power of god.

good morning jesus. my prayer

dear jesus i love you and hello, good morning. what a beautiful morning it is. the quietness of my house and the coolness of the wind.

dear jesus thank you for the successful transaction of the house. it is a very good price but i am so sad i am leaving this cosy nest of ours.

i don't really look forward to moving to my dad in law house cos it is not pretty. you know how i love pretty things jesus. well the way he renovates is just not to our standard... but i still thank god for the available house. but i don look forward to moving in...

god give me ideas on how to beautify the house. lead us to furniture which can transform the house dear jesus.

lord i would like to pray for ernest. i see his heartbeat from his blog. he seems to be struggling a lot and i pray that you will strengthen him.

lord maybe i should help him by ensuring i have a full time job, wherever i may be. though i am very unhappy in the current place too. maybe it is not as bad as his. perhaps my ego is not tied up so much with work. well being a woman.


i think i will just have to start with a full time job first then as god leads, apply for part time in the institution in future as god leads.

dear god, i would like to have a job where there is a strong supportive culture for teachers to perform, where i can work but still have more than sufficient time with my family. i do not want to have just enough time for my family but "more than sufficient". a place where there are supportive colleagues and where students and i can build a good rapport . also god i pray that there could a pay increase as well.

and staff benefits.. there would be childcare leave, childcare sick leave... a place i can still spend vacation time with my kids.

jesus in the same way you led me to list the qualitities of my life partner and you blessed me, in the same way i list the kind of job i would like to have and i trust that you will bless....

dear lord job changing is a big issue and i pray that you will lead every step of the way. now that i have gone for the interviews, i pray that you will open and close doors according to your good will.

lord jesus i continue to pray for a helper whom i can trust. this current helper is a good task master. no doubt she cooks well and does her housework well but i doubt her character. thus this person cannot work long term here. ours is a house of god and we cannot tolerate duplicity in this place without repentance.

i am keen on a myanmese maid cos i have a good impression of myanmese. do provide me the right one at the right time. i think i will start the search in july, after we have settled down in our new house.

dear god i pray that you will provide stef with a life partner. she desires one. god why dun you bless her?

dear jesus i pray that i would have more time for josef. i find that we have hardly any time to communicate during the weekdays. hmm maybe we shoudl share more during dinner time.

may you be our all in all. o jesus help erna nd i to talk more about the things of god over the dinign table so that our kids may know you better.

you are also the almighty lord who has inscribed us on the palms of your hands.

god spoke about holiness. those who are not holy will be cast away from his presence. how do we maintain holiness in our lives? by obeying god's word. by having a close relationship with god.
god i pray you help me lead a holy life so that i may be in your presence daily.

o god, help me to pray more to you. in today's passage, you talk about the spirit that comes out only by prayer. prayer is essential.. help me to praise you more, worship you more and pray for my self and other more.

raise me up dear lord as your prayer lamb. pray pray pray. there are many things in my life but help me pray unceasingly as commanded in the word.

the psalm says that "god is his exceeding joy". god may this be true of my life too.... that you are my Joy, my purpose and my all in all.

in proverbs, it says that those "who conceal their hatred have lying lips". we have to pray for discernment so that we know who have lying lips. conceal means hide. how do we see things that have been hidden? through god's eyes is the onlly way.

dear jesus i am going for the interview today. i pray that your hand is upon me. give me words and help me to perform to my ability. give me favour with the interviewers. o lord be with me and may your perfect will be done.

dear jesus i need a helper whom i can trust. this one can do her job well but her integrity is dubious. at the right time, please provide me with a myanmese maid who can do her tasks well , loves children and have a good character.

jesus can you give me a dream regarding my 3rd child? so that he will not feel left out cos his siblings have dreams from you.

jesus speak to me about your purpose for my life, my destiny in you. bring me to the place you want me to be. if it is your good will for me to stay, i will. though i don't like it. i say let your will be done and not mine.

jesus i pray for my dad in law salvation. open his spiritual eyes and mind.

jesus i pray for my parent's marriage. let acceptance and joy fill it and let them enjoy the golden years together. let my dad be consumed by your joy. take away the complaining spirit dear lord.

lord, i lift up the selling of house, buying of car, getting a new job and helper to you. God you will make a way when there seems to be no way. i claim the promise that you know the plans you have for us, plans that will prosper us and not harm us. i claim your promise that even before we were born, each of our day is crafted in your hand.

dear jesus, bless today as i go about my work. multiply my time so that i can finish more within a stipulated time.

i love you lord and i worship you. come into my life and have a bigger place in my heart.

a prayer to jesus

jesus fed the 4000 with seveb loaves of bread and a few small fish. it was mentioned that the people ate and were satisfied.

when i read this, i learnt that god is the one who provides and what he provides gives satisfaction. it does not mean that we will be satisfied in plenty or abundance. we may have a big car or house or a big fortune, but there may be no satisfaction in us.

god gives us satisfaction.

he can also multiply what we have many times. this can refer to stretching our finance, our talents, our time.

amen.

i have been off exercising for nearly a month now. god please help me get back to it. dear jesus, help me to be disciplined.

i need to start preparing tutorial again and dear jesus i pray that you will help me do a faster and better job this time. thank you for the last tutorial and the students felt that they benefitted from it. but last time, i was extremely slow. Help me to be faster this time.

dear lord open up the way that you want to to walk in. i will be meeting some people this week and i pray that you give me favour with those you want me to be with. jesus, you know best and you are appha and omega. lead me in your way dear jesus.

i would love to delight myself in you again.. there are many things to look into and after in my life but i pray that god will always the first love in my life.

dear jesus you deserve my highest praise.

thank you god for blessing us with a good price for selling our house. i could see the divine appointment there arranged by you and i am amazed by how you work.

dear jesus i pray for ernest. help me dear jesus, to be consumed by the pursuit of jesus. where his heart is there his treasure will be too. i pray that he will find his treasure in you. open his spiritual eyes that he may see the futility of wealth and riches. your word says that cast a glance at the riches and they are gone. naked we come from the womb, naked we go. therefore fear god and obey his commandments. help him too dear lord to learn from the wisdom of solomon who discovered the futility of riches and wealth. open his spiritual eyes and mind to see all these dear lord.

remove all traces of condemnation from him dear lord.. your blood has made him clean. there is no condemnation for those who are in christ jesus. the more sin we have the more grace are given to us. not that we want to continue in our sin but that we are god's beloved purchased by jesus blood. jesus let not satan, the accuser of our brothers, have any impact on ernest.

i ask all this in the authority of jesus name. what a powerful and beautiful name. amen.

i pray for my children that they will know god. jesus bless them with a personal relationship with you. let their hearts minds and spirits be aligned to your truth. let their hearts be submitted to you and their minds be guided by your truth.

dear lord continue to bring friends of positive influence into their lives and sift out the negative ones. bring godly people into their lives dear god.

i pray for their water and fruits intake. dear jesus increase their appetite for food that are beneficial to their bodies. thank you dear lord.

dear jesus if i am pregnant, give me a dream of the child so that i have story to share with him too. both deborah and josef have a story, let him have one too.

dear jesus james? i do wish i have a daughter... but god gives the best and i trust that you will give me the best cos you love me very much.

dear god i pray for my family members that they will enjoy good health and walk closely with you.

dear god i also need a helper who loves children and someone whom i can trust in terms of character and work ability. bring her in at the right time dear lord. meanwhile help me to practise discernment and wisdome in relating and managing the present one.

dear jesus may my life be a sweet incense to you. i have so many prayer requests. i pray that you you will look at me and find pleasure in me, like the same way i gaze at josef and deborah and my heart is filled with delight.

he took pride in houses, having authority over others, having others to serve him ( slaves), investments (vineyards), houses, possessions, gold, entertainment, power (became great and surpassed all), self satisfaction

these were futile cos nothing was gained under the sun.

seek ye first the kingdom of god and all these will be added unto you as well.

seek not the pleasures of this earth for they aer vanity. but seek ye the kingdom of god and all these will be given to you as well.
