god is faithful

last sunday pastor preached about god's faithfulness. we must always obey him and he is always there for us.

today's passage is on god's faithfulness too.

praise and thank god, that i am your child. i am secure in your faithfulness. faithful is who you are dear lord and i rest in all that you are.

i love you dear lord and dear lord make my life count for you.

use my life to fulfill your good will in this short life of mine. my life is yours dear lord.

jesus bless ernest who is in the states now. draw him close to you and anoint him with an intimacy with you. let the fires of revival burn in his soul and let him hear clearly from you.

speak to his mind and heart o lord all that you have in your heart. bless him dear lord.

dear lord thank you for josef and deborah. bless them with a fear of the lord that transcends that of their parents'. that they may have a personal knowledege and walk with you that will deepen even after we have left the earth.

dear lord draw the whole family to you. let your glory rest on us so that your name be exalted in all the earth.

prayer

i read the bible but this blog will be my prayer. i just feel the need to pray more than before.

dear lord jesus, forgive me that i am so slack in my prayers, esp for my kids and hubby.

dear lord i pray for josef who is under a lot of influence from the world. the boys around me are playing with Master Duel cards etc. i know the peer pressure josef is facing. strengthen him dear lord and give him your wisdom which will guid him to know what is beneficial to him and what is not.

lord help josef to find fulfillment in other areas of his life. help him to enjoy other aspects of life. many of the boys do not have anything else to do and this is why they indulge in the cards.

as parents, help ernest and i to help our children develope interests which will well occupy their time.

grant them too the desire for god and the things of god. holy spirit, keep them for yourselves and keep them from being untainted from the world.

josef is having his exams now. lord i pray that you will bless him with good results. he has worked hard and may it be a reward for his hard work.

bless josef with a love for learning and help him to enjoy learning. bring teachers into his life who can make lessons alive... make learning interesting...

he is often bored by teacher talk. bring teachers into his life - those who can utilise technology and aids to make learning more fun.

deborah- jesus keep this girl for yourself. i note her desire to be independent in many areas of her life. i pray that she will be dependent on you.

use her independent spirit for your pioneering purposes and leadership positions. teach and mould her to yield to you.

i pray for her as she starts her preschool. help her to adapt quickly and find favour with her friends and teachers. help to bond with the people there so that she may form a security tie there.

bless her lord and help this little girl to receive you as her saviour the moment her little mind and heart are ready

lord i pray for myself. bless me with favour among the people around me. lord may your perfect will be done in my life as i try out new things. lord, the plans you have for me are good and i put my trust in that.

lord help me to number my days that i may gain a heart of wisdom. help me to rejoice in all the blessings you have given me so that joy may overflow from my heart and all may see and give you glory.

bless my marriage with ernest too. there are areas we need to work on. help us to communicate and improve those areas.

i love you jesus. thank you for first loving me.

number our days

we are just like dust... am reminded that..

"lord teach us to number our days so that we may gain a heart of wisdom"

what is the relation between the action and consequence? well when we number our days we realise what are the really important things, what are temporal and eternal. We will start to prioritise and live our lives more purposefully.... i think this is how we will gain our heart of wisdom.

god of wisdom, give ernest and i the wisdom to lead our lives, to bring up our kids and to pursue the goals which we pray are in line with your perfect will for our lives.

strengthen thy feeble arms

“If you have raced with men on foot, and they have wearied you,how will you compete with horses?And if in a safe land you are so trusting,what will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?6 For even your brothers and the house of your father,even they have dealt treacherously with you;they are in full cry after you;do not believe them,though they speak friendly words to you.”

what is god trying to say here? is he telling us we must rise up and strengthen our feeble arms? i tink so.

hmm god come strengthen our arms and help us not falter in times of trouble. like ernest says, teach and enable us to wait on you and soar on wings like eagles.

the eagles do not flap their wings to soar but they are lifted up by the wind currents.

let your holy spirit be the current that brings us up.... let us soar on wings like eagles.

i pray for my kids that they will love the lord with their lives and they will develope a deep knowlege of you as they grow up.

god will lead

god has been speaking and i thank him for it. i only pray that the spirit will shine thru me as i am often very discouraged and xian now where i am.

the verse is " I know, O Lord, that the way of man in not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Jer 11:23

dear lord guide me in the way i should go. should i stay give me the joy and the conviction that i am doing your mission here. it is so stifling here....

god be my shepherd and i will follow you steop by step all theway. i trust in your goodness and faithfulness.

dear god bless all in the family too. bless jo in his exams.

provision of god

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

those in red speak to me. god reminds me to pray about everything. hmm... esp my next phase. i feel quite lost and a bit stuck.... i am waiting on god to act. i must pray for favour from all men, and esp God.

if you want to move me else where, i need the monetary provision for the kids' education. if you bless me with it, i think it is a sure sign to move...

and god , should i bring debbie to china at such a young age for the year end vacation? pls speak to me and ernest. i scared she may contract some virus cos she is so young...

god bless my dad in law and help him to melt in your presence. amen.

god i pray for josef that he may enjoy learning and he may excel in whatever he undertakes.bless him with godly friends and teachers who may influence him well.

god i thank you for Bible church and that the kids are enjoying themselves there.

help me lord to nurture their spiritual lives more. help me lord.
