giving and sowing generously with a cheerful heart

He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written:


“ He has dispersed abroad,
He has given to the poor;
His righteousness endures forever.”[b]

10 Now may[c] He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

the lord spoke to me yesterday from 2 cor 9 about generous giving and sowing.

the pre requisite for reaping bountifully is sowing bountifully.

attitude 1 : as his heart purposes interestingly it is not as his 'mind' thinks. the focus is more of the heart. link to proverbs which says that the heart is the fountain of all life. what is the heart? it is not the physical heart. i think it refers to whatever we hold dear, values, people etc.

attitude 2: cheerful giver
give happily cos god loves it

consequence 1: God is able to make all grace abound toward you,

consequence 2: that you, always having all sufficiency in all things,

consequence 3: may have an abundance for every good work.

consequence 4:multiply the seed you have sown

consequence 5:increase the fruits of your righteousness

consequence 6: while you are enriched in everything

the world says to store and keep for oneself. lets live by the kingdom rules if we want to advocate kingdom living.

lets sow generously to reap all the wondrous promises given in the bible.

sow not only in terms of money, but also time, love , attention, sow our lives into the kingdom of god.

Prayer
Lord I pray for my children that they will have the love of learning. give me the wisdom how to make learning an enjoyable experience for them at home.

i pray for deborah that she will be patient when learning how to write. grant her the wisdom to read cos she loves reading. i pray humility in all that she does as well.

i pray for josef that he will be safe even as he roller blades. protect him from any injury and send angels to guard him lord.

thank you for putting him in a class with motivated students. you have answered my prayers. lord i pray that josef will also grown in intrinsic motivation to achieve good results.

in the process of learning, may they also learn the meaning of dependance on the lord. let them go in the name and strength of the lord. not there not be any semblance of self reliance but dependance on the almight lord who loves them completely.

i pray that my chldren wil always be at the top and not the bottom. let them shine brightly in the world that they may be in the world but not of the world.

dear lord thank you that matthias has settled down well in school. i plead the blood of christ over my children and family, that all may enjoy good health and healing. in the mighty name of jesus, i comman all ill spirits to leave my family. i speak healing of bodies and emotions into each member now.

i pray for a smooth transition as we change a maid. i pray for marisa that she will get her hearts' desire. whatever she needs, she will find it in you.

lord i pray there will no misgiving between us but let there be understanding and mutual trust. it is a pity that this contract must end. but i am looking for a relationship which marisa refused to give. thus it cannot be continued.

lord if paul is best for us, help us with the process and bring it to fruition.

thank you lord. i neeed sb who cooks who loves the children manages the housework reasonably and can get along with us.

thank you lord for providing.

i pray for my lesson later that it will be filled with your presence. fill my class with your presence lord. let there be learing and joy.
