humble and kind

hello everyone, i am back to share my thoughts on blog.

today i learn about gentlenss.

two aspects of gentlenss is "humility" and "kindness".

These two aspects are shown by David - the man after god's heart.

he shows his humility when he acknowledged that he is a nobody from the smallest clan.

his kindess is shown when he asked a cripple ( son of Jonathan) to eat at his table. Remember that David is the King of Israel. To invite a cripple to dine at the same table is kind gesture borne out of humility.

I sense the Lord speaking to me that he wants me to behave the same way as David. Minister to the crippled in body and spirit. Yes there is someone who is near my who is like this.

Lord jesus, teach me to reach out to this person in compassion humility and kindness.

Not by my power but by the power of your Spirit jesus. Change me and give me a heart of compassion dear Lord.

Humility is also shown by john the baptist who said that he was unworthy to untie jesus' sandals. what humility!

I notice that all the people used mightily by god are humble.

indeed god raises up the humble and the proud, he knows from afar.

god i pray for ernest my family and myself for a spirit of humility to be in us. take away all arrogance and self glory. i pray for our family will be one who is humble before you, especially for ernest and deborah. may there be a meek spirit - a one who relies on god.

Jesus is always with me

jesus always holds me in his hand.there is no where i can flee from him. he will never let me go.

if i go up to the heavens you are there
if i make my bed in the depths you are there
if i rise on the wings of the dawn if i settle on the far side of the sea
even there your hand will guide me
your right hand will hold me fast.

i do not need to fear any thing cos god is with me always.
