jesus used 5 bread to feed 5 thousand people. this shows that jesus can provide more than we can ever imagine.

jesus was always alone praying. when peter went to find him, he was alone praying. i think next time when i am without a helper, i will either wake up earlier or when the kids have gone to school.

Better to be lowly and have a servantthan to play the great man and lack bread.

this tells me that quality is more important than appearances. Appearances are deceptive. while impression counts and image and a good name is alos important, we should not be overly concerned with appearances. a balance must be achieved. god give us wisdom to lead a balanced life.

dear jesus i will be very busy this 2 weeks. please strengthen me and bless my body and the work of my hands. please multiply my working speed. like the way you multiply the 5 bread to feed the 5 thousand. help me to finish in miraculous time.

dear lord thank you for my 2 colleagues who share the workload with me. it helps a lot. i was thinking how i was going to manage everything. thank you jesus for your providence.

dear jesus there will be a lot of test these two weeks, help me to carry them out smoothly and help me to mark them fast and accurately.

dear jesus i pray for the wed meeting that you would bless me with words and answers in my mouth that will be approkpriate and full of grace and wisdom. i pray for favour with colleagues and superiors that i may give a good testimony to your name. i pray for understanding between us and take away all mistrust.

i pray for a smooth transition from here to there. i pray that all things will go smoothly. lord i pray too that you would provide me with jobs that i enjoy and timing that is suitable for my life.

i wait on you as you have instructed me. i put my hope in you. and i believe that you are my jehovah jireh who provides for me.

dear lord i know this is the way i must walk. thank you for letting it be so clear to me. i cannot see beyond this step but i know the future is in your hands.

i claim the promise that you have plans to prosper us and to bless us, beyong our imagination.

dear jesus hold my hand all the way and bless me with your wisdom, that i may know what to say and do at all times.

god what is the golden calf in my life or my family? reveal to me even as i spend time with you today.

how amazing the way he can laly prostrate before the lord for 40 nights. how can his heart be for the people so much? or is it for the lord? i dun know. i think he as a leader feels responsible for them.

And when the Lord sent you from Kadesh-barnea, saying, ‘Go up and take possession of the land that I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the commandment of the Lord your God and did not believe him or obey his voice. 24 You have been rebellious against the Lord from the day that I knew you.

what makes god angry? when we rebel against his commandment and when we do not believe in him

Take care, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you, and make a carved image, the form of anything that the Lord your God has forbidden you. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

what is our covenant with god? i am not very sure. anyone wans to help?

i know that jesus died for our sins and we are to keep clear of sins. we are to obey and love god. is this our covenant with god? just like my covenant with ernest is to love and support one another till death do us part. is it the same for god and me? should be cos marriage is a reflection of god and us.

Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”

o god. help us to keep your statues and commands that you will be pleased with our lives. i desire more your pleasure with me than your blessings though of course, i love your blessings too.
o jesus, i am blessed that my descendants are blessed cos of you. i pray that this will be a reality in my life. amen

dear jesus i am anxious about ernest's headache. i am afriad that is something more than a headache. i lift him up to you. dear lord i pray that if there is anything amiss, help us discover it before it is too late. curb any malignant growth even b4 the apt at end may. dear jesus you have the power to raise the dead, you have the power to heal too. amen

i pray for debbie and josef who are succumbing to cold and sore throats. i pray for your healing touch upon them and may they be healthy once again soon. holy spirit, help them to drink a lot of water and eat healthily.

jesus i am concerned too about debbie's eating. she has become very fussy. why has she stopped eating? jesus please reveal to me what i should do about her. is it our cooking or something painful in her mouth? why does she only eat egg?

dear jesus you know deborah best. please reveal to ernest and i what to do about her eating. i am worried that it is an unhealthy diet.

dear jesus thank you that josef is eating much more nowadays. he has even put on weight. thank you. i pray for his spiritual thirst for you. help him to be intimate with you jesus, that you become very real to him. o jesus that you become so real to josef that you are his vision, his hope and his promise. let him find his destiny in you. let him grow to be a man deeply rooted in christ, concerned primarily with the matters of god.

dear jesus i thank you for blessing me with the performance grade. it is beyong my expectation and the glory goes to you. thank you for keeping your promise to me about honouring me cos i lvoe you. it beats my comprehension. how can the most high god honour me? i should be the one honouring you.

but that's where you are to be loved worshipped and adored. you do things for us that we do not deserve. jesus thank you for dying on the cross for us.

now back to bible study.

A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone when he is fully trained will be like his teacher.

this verse strikes me alot cos i am a teacher at heart and this is the job god has called me to be. everywhere i go, i am a teacher.

dear jesus teach me to disciple effectively first my children, then my students. reveal to me how to "fully" train them so that they will be like me. my wisdom is your foolishness. your wisdom is unsearchable and for this wisdom i pray. i worhsip you jesus.

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? 42 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,’ when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye.

due to what happened with the domestic helper recently, i am convicted that things of school should be restricted to use in school only. for example, markers should only be used for school whiteboard etc. do not touch employer's things. amen. yes first keep my life clear of the sin she has made. amen.

this is god's wisdon. in chinese we say "lu yao zhi ma lik, ri jui jian ren xin". we size up people character not by their words but by their actions or fruits of their lives. do not judge a book by its cover, the saying goes.

lord you are our vine and we are the branches. may we abide in you that we may bear fruit abundantly.

i am very encouraged by ernest's faithfulness in reading god's word daily. i would want to learn from his discipline and consitency.

i read from the bible today that the satan is clever. he uses bible verses to trick us. we need the wisdom of god to know how to handle him.

the 3 areas that satan tries to tempt jesus is daily necessities, fame and status, and questions about god's power. we must be careful tht satan does not deceive us in these 3 areas too.

god armour all my family members that he mayn not decieve us in these areas. like jesus, help us to trust in you alone, to serve you alone and not to put you to test.

i love you jesus. you are good to me,despite many of my shortcomings. i know it is your grace that i hae your favour and blessings.

well back to bible study.

i find it interesting how the crowd tried to throw jesus down the cliff but he simply passed thru them and walked away. it seems that there is a sense of indifference and detachment in jesus.

what can i learn from this? jesus knows what is his purpose and other people's reactions do not disturb him.

what is god's purpose for me? god, i think it is to touch lives as i teach. people from all ages and races - through teaching.

god what do you mean by touching lives? how does god touch my life? it means to leave a blessing in their lives in one way or another.

lets say if i am teaching adults, the blessing i could leave in their lives is to help them pass their exams which is so important to them, to pass them some study skills.

lets say i am teaching youths, i could touch their lives by giving them some words of encouragement here and there, to accept them

lets day i am teaching children, the best blessing i can give them is to love and accept them for who they are.

i think this is what it means by touching lives. god what do you think? do give me your insights god.

o you suddenly tell me "salvation". sorry god how could i miss that? the most important blessing i could give to the people is the gift of jesus christ, as god openes doorts thru divine appointments. god does the work, i am the channel.

i am excited to see how god opens doors for me. i keep in my heart what ernest shared with me about casting nets and god blessing the catch.

i may not have good catches now but i believe that god will bless the same way he blessed peter.

basis of faith? that god has promised me that he will honour me and bless the work of my hands cos i love him.

god can you lead me to the location of the promise again? it is somewhere in psalm but i cannot find it.

dear god, i pray for ernest that you will help him lead a spirit filled life. help him to meditate on your word and be transformed in his thinking. bless the work of his hands and like job and abraham, extend his territories and riches, that all glory goes to your Name.

jesus i pray for your healinghand to be upon ern's cough. heal it in jesus name. i pray for your blood to cover him and i claim that you are jehovah rappha, our healer. heal him in jesus name. you have power to raise the dead, what is a cough to you? in jesus mighty name, i claim your healing for ern cough.

dear god, i pray for josef that he may find joy in his learning. enable him to have a lively curiosity about things that he may explore knowledge in a self motivate manner. i pray that if gep is best for him, bring him into the programme dear lord.

i pray that you lead him to classes where he will find learning a joy. i understand that many main stream lessons are very boring. the teachers are not up to par.

i pray for his tests next week that he will understand his concepts well and perform well. tech josef to give thanks and glory to you.

dear jesus i pray for deborah's salvation that this girl may recieve the love of jesus at a young age. may she not reject you but embrace you .she is independent and i pray that she will find her dependence on god always. fill her up with your joy and peace. draw her unto you and keep her for your own mighty purposes dear lord jesus.

bless my children with a legacy of knowing and loving and obeying jesus christ.

jesus, i pray for my own endeavours that you would bless them. give me the best like the way you gave jabez the best. may the best be used to serve you and give you hounour to your name.

o lord lead me to a place where my spirit can leap with joy and carry out the things the way i want to teach.

as josef commented to me last night, mummy is so sad nowadays. yes i feel suffocated in teh place where i am now. lead me to the place where there is life and joy.

in pslam 63 it tells us to meditate on god's work at night, how he has been good to us. i think i should share more with josef at night how god has been good to me. god lead and guide me.

jesus thank you for the meeting yesterday. the rate is a little low but the timing is good. jesus thank you and i pray you continue to open doors for me to other places where the rate is better. i have a desire and i place it in your hands, trusting that you will always give what is best for me cos you love me.

like the way i love my kids, and buy debbie a pair of crocs tho it is expensive in my view, i know your love for me is deeper than that, and youwill give me what is the best.

jesus if you think the gep programme is best for josef, i pray you will bless his work and help him into the programme. even now, josef finds his lessons boring. lead him to your best for him.

lord i need wisdom on how to guide debbie. she is a strong willed child. lead me to books where i can learn, people i can talk to.

i pray for my parents that they may be healthy and heal their r/s too. bless my dad with joy and help him look at the brighter side of things.

dear god, many are the nets that i have tossed out but i do not know what i will catch. i pray that you will help me catch the right fish dear jesus.

i cannot see the way i am going but dear lord, please lead me on to the best path for me.

as i prepare my tutorial later, please help me do a good job. thank you dear lord. i need your wisdom and your speed.
