i am reminded of the article i read about bill and melinda gates. they intend to give away 95% of their wealth in their lifetime.

the epitomise the spirit of "from those who have more, more are expected.". they do not hoard their wealth and their giving is amazing.

how is this related to joseph?
joseph became influential and he also uses his wealth and power to help people.

i think that god has been trying to tell me that as ernest is stepping into a new chapter, god will bless him the way he has blessed abraham. ernest will be blessed in all areas, the way abraham has been blessed.

and in the same way the gates have been using their wealth to bless society, the sengs (ernest and rachael) will be using their wealth to bless people in the name of jesus christ.

the kingdom of god is like a pearl and hidden treasure.

before we pursue anything, god should always be our first priority. pursue the kingdom of heaven cos that is above all things.

dear god you see my desire to teach at the T level. i would like to place this desire into your hands and allow you to keep it. dear lord i must go on status quo now cos ernest is stepping out. i dun mind the status quo for the time being but not for many years. i am actually not developing much here i think. tho i am thankful ofr the colleagues i have met and students i have ministered to here. i guess that this is a huge ministry for me.

dear lord my dream is to teach part time at the t level and use the other time to pursue orphanage work and spend more time with my kids as well.

i desire too, dear lord, to set up an orphanages in asia. i put this dream in your hands and may you bring it to fruition in your time.

dear jesus, i pray for josef and deborah, that they may have a close relationship with you.
